The tool room in IPC has a preventative maintenance programme for all customer mould tools. On site, the company carries out all repairs and modifications to its in house production tools whilst also offering a sub contract service to other injection moulders for mould modification or repair. The equipment available includes all traditional tool room machinery, EDM machines and CNC machining centres. IPC’s customers can have absolute confidence that their mould tools will be accessible and ready for use as soon as they are required.

Joining the company in 2008, at the helm of IPC Mouldings is Managing Director, Joanne Liddle. She has directed a programme of change since 2012 in line with the company strategy for growth and sustainability. These changes have been fundamental and ensured the success of IPC Mouldings as evidenced through quality accreditations, external awards, employee engagement and new customers. At the weekends Joanne spends quality family time with her husband and two children.
John McPherson joined the company in 2013 having worked in the manufacturing sector for over 20 years. His knowledge of Lean manufacturing and operational control including KPIs and metrics has ensured that IPC Mouldings output is successful in a challenging aerospace sector. John is often found at the weekend passing on his football skills and knowledge to the local youth teams and is an active participant in the local footballing community.
A founding member of IPC Mouldings, Business Development Manager Mervyn Nelson has over 40 years’ experience in the aircraft seating industry. His expertise lies within the technical knowledge of the product, its design, manufacturability, assembly and durability. In his spare time Mervyn can be found in his garden with his home grown organic fruit and vegetables.
Hugh Henry originally joined IPC Mouldings in 2014 as an Engineer in collaboration with Queen's University Knowledge Transfer Programme. During his time with the company Hugh has been instrumental in the new product implementation process and technical project management. He liaises closely with both supply chain and customer at a senior level and is an integral member of the technical team. Hugh is an all-round sportsman who is passionate about GAA and rugby.
