This month, we’d like to introduce you to our Operations Manager, John McPherson. Find out more about John below!
How long have you been working for IPC Mouldings?
I am just short of five years service with IPC, I joined in October 2012.
What’s the best thing about your job?
As our company grows, watching our staff develop individually and collectively as a group and the work they do towards making IPC a successful organisation. Our people never fail to surprise me with some of the unbelievable efforts they produce to get parts out to customers across the globe in what can be some very challenging circumstances.
What is your greatest personal achievement with IPC Mouldings?
Achieving SC21 Silver accreditation with our team for three consecutive years has been something I feel personally very proud of, especially with our product range growing and our supply chain becoming more complex.
What are your hobbies outside of IPC Mouldings?
I’m football crazy! I keep fit and active by playing Six–a-Side football with other guys of similar age several times a week. I particularly enjoy going to watch my son play at youth football level at the weekends and help out as a team attendant when required. I’m not sure if eating out passes as a hobby but I certainly like to explore local restaurants and coffee shops, which I unselfishly share pictures of to my friends on social media.
Tell us one interesting fact about yourself:
I have played football for Northern Ireland at Schoolboy and Youth International level.
