Continuing on with our ‘Meet the Team’ feature, we want to introduce you to Chelsea McMullan, who is completing a 12-month placement with us as an engineering intern!

Why did you choose to work at IPC Mouldings?
After completing my degree in Product Design, I decided to undertake a placement with IPC Mouldings to gain some experience in the aerospace industry.
How long have you been working for IPC Mouldings?
I have been working with IPC Mouldings for just over four months as part of my 12-month placement as an engineering intern.
What does a typical day entail for you?
In IPC, no two days are alike, and you never know what the next day will bring! I’m continuing to receive training on many different subjects, including quality documentation and part inspection, which is proving to be very beneficial.
How has working at IPC Mouldings benefitted you since you have started with the company? What skills have you learned/developed?
As a result of joining IPC, I have gained valuable knowledge and skills about reading and interpreting engineering drawings, as well as learning more about quality control.
What’s the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is having something different to do every day, which brings new tasks and challenges.
What are your hobbies outside of IPC Mouldings?
If I am not at the office, you might find me at the gym, shopping or watching football.
